Because you may die someday,
Why don’t you live now,
Why are you wading through life like it’s all thorn and potsherd, with no bold and beautiful?
Because you may die someday,
Why don’t you crowd the life with kindness,
Is it hard to give the world a smile each day?
Because you may die someday,
What are you leaving on the tombstone,
What will the world say about you in several years to come, when your femur and scapula are lying in the cold cold grave?
Because you may die someday,
Why don’t you keep eternity in mind,
Why are you going through life’s business like you have power over your actions and its consequences too?
Because you may die someday,
Why don’t you give God a chance now,
Haven’t you heard that someday we will need to have the imputed righteousness of the Champion of love?
Because you may die someday,
Why don’t you invest in those things that matters,
You seem to have forgotten that your employer will send a vacancy notice even before you are buried, as the family you don’t have time for now is mending breaking hearts?
Because you may die someday,
I wish you new it’s time to live now,
Before you die for truth, God requires that you live in truth.
Sobering indeed. Work for the night is coming.
