LET ME SIN FOR THE LAST TIME.

LET ME SIN FOR THE LAST TIME.

Let me sin for the last time

Says the fallen and carnal man

But a step into the indulgence is too costly a risk

You are losing the sight of the celestial home

Let me sin for the last time

Says the hypocritical Christian

But a step away from the kingdom means fully you’re on the devil’s side

You are gaining the right to face the justice of God, which  to sinners is His wrath

Let me sin for the last time

Says the lackadaisical and spasmodic Christian

But know ye, that further familiarity with evil makes it a hard struggle to break from the tyrant

You crucify afresh the Son of God and put Him to open shame

Let me sin for the last time

Says the Christian with Egyptian mentality

But one longing gaze at Egypt will arouse your desire for the leeks and onions of Egypt

You lose your taste for eternal things incongruently comparing it with the sinful pleasures which diminish with using

Let me sin for the last time

Says the nominal Adventist

But know ye not, that a claim of union with Christ calls for more

You’re confusing church membership with heaven membership

Let me sin for the last time

Says the double-minded Christian

But a mixed identity is acquiring a portfolio in the devil’s corporation

You are converted to the world without your knowledge

Let me sin for the last time

Says the innocent but hardened sinner

But you are getting eternally lost

You reject Christ and with metallic bonds unite with the enemy of man’s soul

Just sin for the last time

Says the fallen and lost angel, a being damned to the netherworld

But you shall be perfect, Says the Saviour

You choose Christ and live or otherwise you auction your soul in a cheap market.

  1. It’s solemn insight here, thanks so much for a wonderful teaching prof, it’s a dose for the day, even in football the last penalty can cost a team victory, and once the match ends, no reversal of events, the time is at hand, the clock is ticking, permanent decision against time, time waits for no man, oh!, Jesus is here today, who knows tomorrow??

  3. Piercing. Thanks for this bro Barrack. I love your articles because they are not theories of things that happen in far away places, but real life issues, and embarrassingly true things that we struggle with. I hope this changes someone the way it does me.

  5. Oh brother fellow soldier, this piece is more than just an article. I treat is as a powerful sermonette that pushes someone to the furthest corner of making a life – death decision.
There shouldn’t be even a weak Vanda Waal forces between us and the soul enemy. We must divorce Satan permanently for deeper and clearer and yet clearer the knowledge of our eternity.

Blessings. I’m waiting for the next episode.
